Mary Matha College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram

Mary Matha College of Engineering and Technology is a private and unaided engineering institution in the south of the state of Kerala, India. It is located at Paliyode, Dalmugham, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, and was founded in 2004 by the PRS Group of Companies. The college is affiliated with the University of Kerala, and the AICTE accredits it.

As a co-educational college, MMCET is committed to offering quality technical education in the areas of science and technology and also nurturing academic excellence through innovative teaching methods and student-centred learning. The college offers undergraduate courses in engineering for a period of four years, leading to B. E. and B. Tech. Degrees.

Besides, the college offers different disciplines in technology, such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. These courses aim to provide students with up-to-date and job-ready knowledge and skills, thus enabling them to be the future leaders of the engineering sector.

The Physical Education Department and the Research Activity Centre, during the last five years of the institution, have been working with MMCET's modernisation of the infrastructure in the domains of academic, administrative, and sports infrastructures, accompanied by improved academic facilities.

The college also has a transportation system to take care of students from different parts of the city and the nearby towns.

Furthermore, aside from the academic institutions’ objectives, MMCET actively promotes the physical, moral, and intellectual growth of students through the integration of education and discipline, thus strengthening the institution’s commitment to inculcate the culture of excellence across its academic programmes. Students who already hold a 10+2 certificate are free to apply for admission.
