Maxford Teachers Training College, Patna

It has been conceived to establish the new Maxford Teachers Training College, Patna in the year 2016 at Bihar. NCTE approves of this co-educational institute. Situated in the lush campus of an area of 1 acres in Bhakhri Pabhri village, this institution caters two special teaching programmes with an enrolment strength of 69 students and faculty strength of 16.

The institution strives to provide an all-round educational experience through the provision of various facilities aimed at augmenting students' growth and development. The library acts as a knowledge hub that allows widening knowledge with regard to education theories and practices. For the physically fit, Maxford Teachers Training College offers sport facilities both for indoor and outdoor games, along with a gym.

Maxford Teachers Training College offers two full-time courses, namely, Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education for two years of study. Sanctioned intake for each of these programmes is 50 students each, so that there is a total of 100 seats on an annual basis.

The courses are both theoretically as well as practically oriented to make the students better teachers at their respective levels within the school systems. While B. Ed aims at teacher preparation for teaching from secondary to higher secondary level, the D. El. Ed aims at empowering teachers for teaching at the primary level.

The Admission Policy in Maxford Teachers Training College has been keeping the guidelines of the State Government of Bihar as well as that of the parent university in mind. For admission in both B. Ed as well as D. El. Ed, the admission is strictly on merit, based solely on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
