MBM B Ed College, Sri Ganganagar

MBM B. Ed. College, set up in the year 2007, is a premier college of teacher education in the Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. NCTE-approved affiliated college is dedicated primarily to offering quality knowledge to those who are aspiring to become teachers. Located in Housing Board, Sector No. 2, the college is a women’s college which enshrines women’s rights to education. MBM B. Ed.

College has acquired the status of a significant institution in the field of B. Ed. courses in the region, as it has a total strength of 371 students. MBM B. Ed. College has different facilities which are intended to help the students improve their learning abilities.

In the middle of these facilities is the college library containing a curriculum of 7140 books, out of which 1525 are reference volumes for education only. It uses 16 educational journals from across the country and provides added services in the likes of internet, photocopying, and printing. Students also have access to a book bank shelf and also different forms of e-learning tools.

The fact that academics are the key focus of the college is also exemplified by the well-endowed college facilities, like the spacious science laboratories, language lab and related equipment. With a view to giving all-round growth to its students, the college has sports facilities; an auditorium for the celebration of different events and seminars; and a health centre with first aid facilities.

The institution also provides accommodation for faculties and students’ families/guests in guest houses, such that everyone feels welcomed. MBM B. Ed. College lays stress on qualitative teacher training education by offering its core course, the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ). It is a two-year, full-time programme intended to prepare the students for a fruitful professional practice as teachers.

MBM College holds an approved intake capacity of 200 seats for its B. Ed. course to enlighten the future teachers on pedagogy information. The admission process followed in MBM B. Ed. College depends on the rules and regulations set down by the state government, U. T. Administration and the university to which the college is affiliated.
