MCE Society's Institute of Pharmacy, Pune was established in the year 1948. It is one of the premier institutions for pharmaceutical education and is located in the heart of Pune at Azam Campus, Camp. This affiliated college has been shaping future pharmacy professionals since the last seven decades. Approved by PCI, the Institute offers a co-educational environment encouraging diversity and inclusivity.

The state-of-the-art facilities and student-oriented approach at MCE Society's Institute of Pharmacy are committed to excellence and readying successful careers in the pharmaceutical industry. It has a number of facilities for enhancing learning experiences and all-round development of the students. It is spacious and well-equipped with a large collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and periodicals.
It has computer facilities with internet access. The library also has modern systems in use for managing the library efficiently, such as Bar Coding and OPAC. There is a reading room operational from 8 am till 11 pm, making the environment very conducive for study.
The college has well-equipped laboratories for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology, comprising gadgets necessary for practical learning. MCE Society's Institute of Pharmacy presently offers one full-time course: Diploma in Pharmacy. This is a two-year programme with an approved intake of 60 students per year.
This shall provide the aspiring pharmacists with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences.
