MD Indraprastha Institute for Higher Education, Delhi

Established in 2009, MD Indraprastha Institute for Higher Education is a standalone college in the New Delhi, part of the larger National Capital Territory of Delhi. An NCTE recognised institution, this institute has earned its place in the field of education. Located on a comparatively small piece of ground of 0. 826 acre, the institute provides an effective learning climate for its learners.

Presently the institute has 96 students and 8 faculty members, which makes our institute selective and provides student friendly environment where we can develop interpersonal relationships with the students. MD Indraprastha Institute for Higher Education has a number of facilities that aims at improving on the learning of students.

It is a fairly large reading hall which, in addition to a constantly expanding range of books, can become a source of knowledge for learners. To support practical learning, the institute has departmental based laboratory facilities for practicals. A facility on campus is an auditorium for event and seminars, which avails a formal atmosphere for discussion and cultural related activities.

MD Indraprastha Institute also has a canteen facility and health center first aid facilities IT infrastructure for the modern educational requirements. To enhance their physical hood however, there is a gym facility that is within the institutions compound. Sports facilities are also provided; hence one is promoted to foster a comprehensive development strategy.

As of now, MD Indraprastha Institute for Higher Education for one whole time course and this is the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). This two year programme has an approved intake capacity of fifty students, a move that the institute has adopted to ensure that it delivers quality education since it enrols few students per batch. The curriculum of the D. El.

Ed programme depicts that the course is aimed at making students develop pedagogical competencies enabling them to teach students of the elementary classes. At MD Indraprastha Institute for Higher Education, the admission procedure is totally based on the Merit system for the Marks secured in the Qualifying examination as well as entrance examination.

The admission policy of the institute is same as for a state government or UT administration. This approach helps make an equal chance for worthy candidates to achieve their educational dreams at the institute.
