MECF College of Teacher Education, Peringathur

MECF College of Teacher Education, Peringathur was started in the year 2008 to produce professional teachers for the future generation. The co-educational college is situated at Kannur district of Kerala and is connected with the University of Calicut, Besides, the college-accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The MECF College occupies a vast piece of land of 6 acres and provides a right setting for подготовка заботливых и компетентных учитеь текущего и будущего поколения. The college currently is in a position to 96 students and has 9 well-experienced faculty members.

MECF College of Teacher Education has been established to deliver quality teacher education in Bangladesh with only 100 approved seats for the award of B Ed degree. MECF College of Teacher Education has most of the facilities that can help in improving the learning ability of the students. The teachers’ training library has been established to avail information to aspiring teachers and occupies 700 sq. fertile space.

In the domain of physical development and recreation there is the provision of sports facilities and the students. To enhance ICT education the college has employed outstanding technology in its IT infrastructure. An auditorium with an area of 1530 sq. ft. , which fulfills the several activities and seminars promoting the lively environment of a campus.

There is also Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Language, Education Technology and Psychology laboratories, the function of which is to give the college’s student-teachers practical teaching touch that is essential in the college. MECF College of Teacher Education, Peringathur started its course in the existing building during academic year 2007-08 it offers only one full time course Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.

) programme. This programme takes two years in order to produce professional teachers with the right knowledge and skills to handle the career. MECF College of Teacher Education has standardized admission procedures and policies as provided the State Government, U. T. Administration, and this University.

Admission for the qualified courses is offered based on the students performance on the qualifying examination and or entrance examination.
