Meerut Institute of Education and Health Sciences, or MIEHS, was founded in 2007. It is one of the prime institutions of education located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. This co-educational institute is an affiliated college granted recognition by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, and aims primarily at teacher education.

The institution has a conducive atmosphere for the future teachers located near Pawli Khas Railway Station in Modipuram, Meerut. With only 107 students in total as an intake, the institute ensures that the children receive focused and personal learning. There are a plethora of facilities that MIEHS has to enhance the educational journey of the learners.

The institute has a well-stocked library with fabulous educational resources for its students. The college has various sports facilities for students who interest and indulge in sporting and other physical activities. It has fully developed IT infrastructure, and hence the students of MIEHS get resources as well as aid in staying in touch with the world and access to contemporary learning tools.

Besides, it also has a good cafeteria, an auditorium for any events, seminars, and well-equipped laboratories for practical learning. Meerut Institute of Education and Health Sciences provides hostel facilities for boys and girls, and hence their living environment would seem homely. The institution also has a well-equipped health centre with first-aid facilities for the benefit of the students.

Presently, there is only one principal course in MIEHS, which is the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) programme . This is a full-time course of two years in duration with an approved intake of 100 students. The B. Ed. course offered by MIEHS aims at preparing students for bright careers in teaching with adequate equipping of necessary skills and knowledge.

Meerut Institute of Education and Health Sciences bases its admission policy upon the marks secured at the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination. The admission policy prescribed by the state government, UT administration, and the affiliating university is followed.
