Meerut International Institute of Teachers Meerut (MIIT) is a college raised in the year 2014. This affiliated college is situated in Ghat Institutional Area, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, which has been approved by NCTE: National Council for Teacher Education. MIIT occupies a small piece of land of 5 acres; therefore, it has a favourable learning environment.

The institute is currently having a total of 337 students and thirty one faculty members in the stream. In regards to gender, MIIT is a mixed institution which accepts students of both genders in its institution. Meerut International Institute having well equipped facilities for sports education and physical fitness is considered important so that the students may develop team spirit.

A modern library is the source of information aimed at the enhancement of academic and research processes. The institute has also departmental laboratories as part of practical experience for the students in the field they are taking. In terms of health, MIIT owns the health centre that contains the first aid.

There is a canteen available a little bigger in order to allow students and faculties to take a break and interact. Furthermore, to meet current educational requirements, the college has developed very good information technology teaching facilities. You will also find an auditorium as well; these are beneficial in hosting the events and seminars which enrich the whole campus life.

In terms of academic offerings, MIIT currently provides one full-time course: the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). This programme takes two years and the institute has an approved student intake of one hundred (100) students as a way of offering quality teacher education. D. El. Ed course aims at making a student a good teacher, and to qualify them for being a good teacher in the elementary level.
