The Meppayur Salafi College of Teacher Education is one of the leading education trainers situated in Meppayur, Kozhikode district, Kerala, and started in 1995. The University of Calicut affiliated a co-educational college for those aspiring to become teachers in the future.

Located on a very large piece of land with a natural resource base of about 40 acres, the college provides one professional course in education with a total enrolment capacity of 50. The institution has a strong teaching staff that comprises 11 qualified and experienced teachers with a high student-teacher ratio.

Meppayur Salafi College of Teacher Education offers one full-time course: Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed. ). Each of the programmes takes two academic years to complete, and admission is finished with the 50 students programme.
