4-acre campus, this institute has been setup with the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college at present has 97 students and the faculty of 7 persons, so every student can get personal approach and receive a quality education. institute is running one, however important, full-time B. Ed. Programme with an approved intake of hundred seats for the training of prospective teachers.

The college is equipped with marvellous equipment fashioned to foster learning and general growth of the students. The efficient, equipped library contains the latest educational tools and a repository of references. The institute also has functional specialised laboratories for Science, Psychology, and language for practical learning.

They include a state-of-the art computer laboratory with updated machines; in this way, the student is conversant with digital teaching aid. Play grounds and gym are provided for sport and games; separate hostels for boys and girls provide a comfortable residence. The college also includes halls for conducting events and seminars, canteen for taking refreshment, and health centre with first-aid treatment facilities.

Further, the institute offers transport facilities, as commutation is made easy for students and employees of the institute. MES College of Education offers only its B. Ed. programme which is a two-year full-time course. This kind of approach enables the institute to focus and direct all its efforts, hence delivering quality education specialists.

MES College of Education has kept the admission policy with a merit-based system as per the rules and regulations of the State Government of Karnataka and the university in which this college is affiliated. Current evaluation criteria include the scores obtained by the prospective students in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
