The college, being the leading institution of legal education in Navi Mumbai, imparts quality legal education to the aspirants of law with affiliation and recognition from BCI. MGM Law College prides itself on well-facilitated learning processes, including well-maintained facilities that aim at enriching the learning experience of its students. At the centre of such facilities lies an extensive library with more than 2,400 books and documents on very important legal subjects.
The library contains all the basic works on the Indian Penal Code, Constitution of India, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, and Indian Evidence Act.
Besides, on the shelves, there are a range of law dictionaries, lexicons, one 27-volume encyclopaedia of central acts, and one 7-volume set of Maharashtra acts, all in supreme working condition to provide the students with highly resourceful literature in the pursuit of their studies. MGM Law College, Nerul, conducts two courses —the integrated BA LLB programme and the LLB programme.
The BA LLB is an integrated course combining arts and law to give a holistic approach toward legal education. The LLB course is designed for 3 years, catering to graduates from other disciplines desirous of launching their careers in the field of law The admission process to MGM Law College, Nerul, is primarily based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law, popularly known as MHCET Law.
