Mother College of Education, Visakhapatnam

Mother College of Education, Visakhapatnam, was established in 2003 as an affiliated college in Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. The institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and offers two full-time education courses. With a total student enrolment of 98 and faculty of 14, it provides a very focused learning environment for aspiring educators.

It affords all facilities for students' intellectual and personal growth. Mother College of Education has a good library with 2,100 volumes, comprising 209 title names of textbook titles, 380 reference books, 7 journals, and 8 encyclopedias. Laboratories for Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Psychology, Art & Craft, and English Linguistics are provided to give hands-on experience.

Admissions at Mother College of Education are done in accordance with the rules and regulations framed by the Commissioner and Directorate of School Education & DIET CET of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This assures uniformity and equity in the selection process for admission to both B. Ed and D. El. Ed.
