Mother Teresa College of Agriculture, Pudukkottai was established in 2017, and is a relatively new college promoting agriculture education in the Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college is situated at Mettusalai, Illuppur Post and has been recognised by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR).
The college visually occupies a much larger campus spreading over an area of 157 acres of land to support theory as well as the practical aspects of learning and innovation. This Jesuit college presently has 263 students and 23 faculties which help the college to keep the student-teacher ratio balanced and thereby offer quality education supported by quality interaction between the students and their teachers.
The college also aims at delivering a well rounded education to its students. The college provides welfare and amenities for students in academic work and various activities. This four-year full-time course is offered to provide students with basic knowledge of agricultural sciences having theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience. It has many topics related to crop, soil, pest, weed, climate, credit, price, yield and other aspects of modern farming system.
