Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College, Roorkee, was established in 2016 and is affiliated with Vill. Karoundi, Bhagwanpur, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The co-educational institution is approved by CCIM. The college has 277 students enrolled, assisted by 50 faculty members, thus providing a close-knit and supportive learning environment in the college.

This institute imparts one type of course; it is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, which speaks volumes for its very focused approach to Ayurvedic education. Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College has different facilities to provide ideal learning among the students.

There is a fully equipped library with volumes of books on subjects like Ayurveda and modern medicines covering works on Basic Principles, Sushrut, Dravya Gun Vigyan, and other Ayurvedic subjects of national and international repute. The students have well-equipped classrooms at their disposal, specially designed to be ideal for interactive learning.

State-of-the-art presentation equipment is available for making effective presentations. It also has departmental laboratories for practical trainings in Ayurveda. Also, facilities of sports and auditorium with all excellent facilities for events and seminars are provided for extra-curricular activities.

Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College has one full-time course, namely Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ( BAMS ). The course structure is for six years, within which the principles and practices of Ayurveda are imparted in detail to the students. The intake capacity approved for this course is 100 seats.

Therefore, as such, the institution shall adhere to the stipulated student-teacher ratio for a meaningful learning environment. Admission to Motherhood Ayurveda Medical College is purely merit-based. NEET UG is the main criterion for selecting students for admission.

Since NTA holds a countrywide entrance test, it therefore implies that any student who intends to pursue medical studies in India has to clear the said test for admission into the BAMS course.
