MR College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is located in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The affiliated college was started in the year 2019 and grew very fast in providing quality education in pharmacy. The institute is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education, thereby adhering to national standards of programs.
The Institute has a faculty strength of 28 dedicated professionals committed to maintaining a favorable student-teacher ratio for personalized attention and guidance. The facilities are well-equipped to offer an excellent learning environment to the students. It is indeed a knowledge hub for students because one can find a variety of pharmaceutical literature and research materials in its library.
It is well equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories with modern instruments that provide practical exposure in various fields of pharmaceutical sciences. The institute also realises the requirement for a balanced education; hence, it has excellent facilities for sports too. It encourages the students to take proper care of their body as much as their academic development.
In this digitized world, the infrastructure in IT within the college is an added virtue to enable students to move with the changing technological advancement taking place within the profession. MR College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research offers two full-time courses in the stream of Pharmacy. One is a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy ( D.
Pharma ), which is expected to provide good grounding in pharmaceutical sciences. The other one is the undergraduate degree consisting of four years, a Bachelor of Pharmacy . Both these programs have an approved intake of 60 students each, thereby allowing for a total of 120 students across these two courses.
Admission to MR College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is through the score in national or state level pharmacy entrance examination.
