Nandha College and School of Nursing is one of the leading concern Institutions in Tamil Nadu, India were founded in the year 1998 at Erode. Situated at Koorapalayam Pirivu, Pitchandampalayam Post the affiliated college occupies 9. 95 acres of encompassing land that provides a conducive environment for growth of students in the field of health care.

It is duly affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for educational quality and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). While 234 students are enrolled across the 7 courses and 3 degree programs, Nandha College currently employed 40 faculty members who establish specialized nursing education for students.

The college has immensely developed facilities that facilitate effective learning among its students. The library, spanning 2000 sq. ft. , houses an impressive collection of 6000 books, over 50 e-journals, and 12 national and international journal subscriptions, maintaining a commendable 1:10 student-to-book ratio.

In practical experience arena the institution provides fully equipped laboratory for number of fields in nursing. This laboratory provides computer learning and is well equipped with 35 computers for the students’ use. Students also enjoy health facilities that include first aid station and beautifully constructed gym, and sports equipment for the body health.

The college also has paid hostel accommodations for boys and girls with necessary playing facilities such as table tennis and chess, and which offer internet browsing facilities through the 24-hour network provided by the college. Nandha College and School of Nursing provide a wide course for students who wish to have a career in their chosen health field.

It offers 7 full-time courses based on undergraduate and postgraduate degree program for its students. The institution also has an undergraduate capacity to admitting fifty students into the 4-year B. Sc Nursing program , twenty toward the 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course. For greater specialization the college provides 5 M.

Sc Nursing courses each 4 seat’s course is provided in Child Health , Medical Surgical, Obstetrics and Gynecological , Psychiatric and Community Health Nursing . The combined approved intake in all the courses to date is 90 students for each year, which is attributable to the willingness of the institution to preserve the quality of the education provided through intense learning in small groups.
