Nandha Teacher Training Institute, the institution Which was established in the year – 2006 and Nandha Teacher Training Institute is a self financing institution situated at Erode, Tamil Nadu. This coeducational college is recognised by the National council for Teacher Education and offers exclusive teacher education courses.

Located in a small campus of 2 acres, the institute’s total student strength is 27 students strength at present and the teaching faculty comprises of 5 members. Currently, Nandha Teacher Training Institute has one course, the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) to produce competent teachers to teach the children in the primary and upper primary classes.

There is a variety of facilities of the institute for the improvement of learning atmosphere of the students. The library, which is regarded as the center of an institution, has a diversified list of books, journals, magazines, and other study materials dealing with management sciences, science and education technology.

On the practical training, the college offers departmental-based laboratory facilities throughout the colleges. In addition, there are well equipped boys and girls hostels to enable students have safe, clean and fully furnished accommodation.

In addition, the hostels allow students to participate in some of their co curricular activities such as yoga and meditation, sports, music among others as a way of nurturing students holistically. The present Nandha Teacher Training Institute today has only one full flushed course with an approved intake capacity of 50 seats for D. El. Ed .

This is a two-year diploma programme that the students can enroll in to in order to train for a teaching job in the basic education level. The admission procedure of Nandha Teacher Training Institute is in conform it to the norms of the state government and UT administration. Selection is made purely on merit through marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.
