Narasaraopeta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (NIPS) began in the year 2007. It is an important pharmaceutical education centre situated in Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh. Admissions at NIPS are made strictly on the common entrance test. The entrance scores accepted for the B.

Pharma course are from the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test ( AP EAMCET ). For postgraduate programmes, entrance applications are received through the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test ( AP PGECET ). These entrance examinations help in the admission of only those students who actually meet the eligibility criteria.
