National Law University and Judicial Academy Guwahati is recognised as "Institute of National Importance" and was established in the year 2009. NLUJAA admission to BA LLB is based on CLAT and the counselling process through the CLAT Consortium. CLAT PG scores are required for LLM admission at NLU Guwahati . For general category students, 2049 is the NLUJAA cut off 2025 for CLAT in round 5. Placements at NLU Assam : Median package is Rs 10. 80 LPA for BA LLB and Rs 8. 20 LPA for LLM as per NIRF 2026 law report.
Admission to NLUJAA BA LLB programme is based on the CLAT examination. Candidates seeking NLU Guwahati admission to LLM programme must appear for CLAT PG scores. Students must have completed LLM with 55% to apply for PhD courses at NLU Assam and then appear in the entrance test and interview.
The placement cell of NLU Assam provides training to the students by organising various activities such as group discussions, mock interviews, workshops and many more. According to the NLUJAA fees , BA LLB fees is Rs 7. 10 lakhs, and LLM Fees is Rs 1. 15 lakhs.
