Nawab Shah Alam Khan College of Engineering and Technology (NSAKCET), established in 2008 and located in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a pioneer engineering college. This affiliated college, located on a sprawling 5. 01-acre campus, is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
NSAKCET provides 19 courses in four degree programmes and a total intake capacity of 2,219 students. The college has a well-qualified faculty of 224 members so as to maintain a good student-teacher ratio. Being a technical university, NSAKCET has positioned itself well for a school that offers engineering and technology education.
The college offers all-round necessities that can support the greatest experience of the college students. There are forty-five thousand volumes of text and reference books and journals for different fields of engineering, management and sciences and other general books. It also binds over 200 magazines and is connected with e-journals and other online resources through Internet connection.
In so far as physical fitness and recreation are concerned, the college provides a well-equipped gym for games and sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. Civil engineering facilities provided for each department are sophisticated laboratories equipped to support various departments.
Other facilities include an auditorium for the conduct of events and seminars, a cafeteria facility, a health centre with first-aid facilities, a guest house, and properly designed car parking space. NSAKCET provides a broad range of courses, mostly concentrating on full-time programmes. The institute has arranged 19 courses; out of those, they offer B. Tech, M. Tech, MCA and Diploma in Engineering courses. The B.
Tech programmes include specialisations in computer science and engineering , artificial intelligence & machine learning, information technology , and civil engineering . Computer science and engineering and structural engineering M. Tech are also available at the college.
Also, diploma courses are offered in electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and artificial intelligence and machine learning. The overall number of students approved to intake in all courses that we have is 2219, which is an indication of how the institution can welcome a host of students who wish to be engineers or technologists in the future.
In its admission process, NSAKCET follows the laid-down standard and relies mostly on merit as recommended by the state government. TS EAMCET is the major entrance test for admissions into the B. Tech course; the college accepts scores from other examinations too. For postgraduate programme such as MCA, the TSICET scores are taken into consideration.
The college follows the admission dates and procedure as laid down by these entrance exams and by the affiliating university. Unfortunately we are unable to find specific scholarship information here, but probably the institution has scholarships based on merit.
The years of dedicated efforts by faculty and management in providing quality education to the students have borne fruit in terms of quality output in terms of the number of successful NSAKCET alumni presently employed in various fields of engineering and technology.
