Neelam Teacher Training College was set up in the year of 2008 situated in Alwar (Rajasthan). As a co-educational college the focus here is on preparing the future of teachers. Being an affiliated college, it functions in collaboration a affiliated university hence has to follow certain standard educational policies.

That fact that the college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), therefore vouching for the quality of teacher education. The college has a student enrolment including 187 students with 16 faculty members and hence has an advantage of a small ratio of students to members of staff hence ensuring enhanced student-member staff interaction.

The college has several facilities that aim at improving the learning process to the learners within the institution. Accompanying such facilities are few that include a library with more than 4,500 books that can greatly facilitate an individual with his course of education.

It has reference books, biographical materials, classics, magazines, periodicals and journals within its library collections and aims to meet a variety of intellectual needs. In the college practical learning needs are met through departmental laboratories which enhance practical application of the knowledge gained.

Neelam Teacher Training College currently offers one primary course : being the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) programme. This course lasts for two years and it is developed to expose a student to every required aspect that will enable him/her to become a competent teacher.

This programme has an approved intake capacity of 100 and this capacity shows the capability of the college in producing many prospective educators in a given year. Admission in Neelam Teacher Training College is carried out based on merit with cooperation from the State Government, UT administration and affiliation to a university.
