Nehru Academy of Law, Mangalam (NAL) is the affiliated college established in the year of 2015 in Lakkidi, Mangalam, Palakkad, Kerala. Recognized by the Bar Council of India, NAL has a total of 421 students admitted to three programmes in law. The campus occupies an area of sixteen acres making the natural beauty of equality environment measured.
For the effective learning of its students NAL avails numerous amenities to its students. The college has a good collection of books; reliable legal texts, case laws reference books and number of academic law journals, political science and economics also included. The IT infrastructure is sound, and it includes the Internet Lab that has high computational servers, the various Operating systems.
The Moot Court facility is a balanced combination of theory and practice, which fine-tunes the students’ competencies of a lawyer. Separate hostel facilities are available in NAL in order to educate and accommodate both boys and girls standard.
Other facilities are canteen, air-conditioned conference hall, transport services, internet service – high speed data transmission, sports, gymnasium, guest house and health center with/basic medical amenities. Nehru Academy of Law Mangalam totals to three full time courses in the specialized field law. These are B. BA. LL. B (Hons. ) Five year integrated programs, B. Com. LL.
B (Hons) Five year integrated program and three year LL. B program. The authorized enrollment capacity for the entire program is 180 and every course has 60 sitting capacity. The admission criteria at Nehru Academy of Law, Mangalam depends mainly on the result achieved in the Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE). This exam is the principal avenue through which beginners seeking admission to NAL’s programs will go.
