Nehru College of Nursing, Tiruchirappalli was launched in the year 2007 is one of the premier Educational Institution with focus on nursing in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Located at SF. Yes this affiliated college is located in No. 440/2B, Enamkulathur, Dindigul Road and is spread over 5 acres of land thus providing adequate environment for learning.

Recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC,) the college has set a high standard to its nursing courses. Nursing College is a new generation institution for nursing education designed to cater 216 students’ enrolment and has a faculty of 17 members. Modern facilities that we have set in the college aim at supporting the educational processes of the college.

Well-lit and well-furnished girls’ hostel available in the campus gives the students a homely atmosphere to stay along with round the clock security. It has an exhaustive library well stacked with books, national and international journals and magazines of daily newspapers both in English and Tamil medium.

On matter of all round development, college has facility of sports and it also has big auditorium to organize cultural shows and seminars etc. This helps the students embrace the latest trends in information technology while the canteen afford s students the privilege to dine and socialize. At present, Nehru College of Nursing runs only one B. Sc Nursing course , making it a full time Nursing college.

This is a four-year undergraduate program into which the college has an approved admission of 60 students for each year, a factor which shows that the college wants to preserve the student-faculty ratio. It is used to provide students with profound theoretical background and practical experience which seems to be vital for the further nursing profession.
