Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students is offered to meritorious students to provide financial assistance to students who come from low-income families to meet the expenses while pursuing higher studies.
The examining body will make a merit list of scholars likely to be eligible for the scholarships within 5 weeks after the declaration of the results by the boards, universities, and authorities. The income of parents will also be considered while preparing the merit list.
The shortlisted candidates must present an entitlement card, an income affidavit, and a statement of particulars duly signed by the head of the institute. The details of NHMC New Delhi Scholarships are given below.
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students Particular Requirement Eligibility for Scholarship Students who are above the 80th percentile in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
Reservation SC- 15% ST- 71/2% OBC- 27% Physically handicapped- 3% Rate and Duration of Scholarship Graduation level - The rate of scholarship is Rs. 1000 per month for the first three years of College and University courses. PostGraduation level - Rs. 2000 per month. Professional Courses- Rs. 2000 per month in 4th and 5t year.
Parental income ceiling Scholarship will be provided to only those candidates whose parental or guardian income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 4. 5 lakhs per annum.
