Nehru Institute of Management Studies is the affiliated college that started in 2008 and is at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This vast learning institute is located at a beautiful place, Thirumalayampalayam-Nehru Gardens, and this institute occupies only 3 acres of land.

Nehru Institute of Management Studies provides a unique educational experience with the one and only MBA programme for its 71 postgraduate students aspiring for senior managerial positions. It sustains a close-knit teaching-learning ambiance with a strength of 7 faculty members that allows each student to remain under the able mentorship of an instructor.

Nehru Institute of Management Studies boasts of having provided varieties of facilities that supplement students’ learning experiences. The campus also has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls outstation students to provide a homelike atmosphere.

Social needs are met with the provision of First Aid Health Services through the health centre, while recreation and sports needs are met with the well-equipped gym. For learning activities, the college has a vast library facility and computerisation of records. Other facilities for students include the provision of sports facilities and a cafeteria for students to socialise.

This institution has an auditorium for occasions, for example, gatherings and seminars, which makes the campus lively. The MBA programme implemented by the institute is specifically channelled to develop students in the ever-changing environment of business management.

This is a full-time course that takes two years, and it is the flagship of the total academic programmes offered by the Nehru Institute of Management Studies, with the admission calendar being a full academic year to absorb all the seventy-one students. The structure of the programme serves the purpose of giving a working knowledge of business management, leadership, and strategic planning.

Currently the major mode/entry point to join Nehru Institute of Management Studies is through the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ( TANCET ). This test is a state-level exam, and it is a final examination for MBA courses where the interested candidates need to get in to the institute.

The university acknowledges TANCET scores that show their ability in finding students who have a good background in academics and one who desires to study management.
