Nehru Memorial College of Pharmacy, Hanumangarh

Nehru Memorial College of Pharmacy is recognised institution located in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan which was established in 1987. This college having the facility of co-educational and recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) offer specialized education in pharmaceutical sciences.

Stretched over a campus area of 4 acres, the college has the strength of total students incidentally 116 and total faculty members 8 only. NMCP, as it's commonly known, provides two primary degree programs: B. Pharma for candidates aspiring to become pharmacists and entrepreneurs and D. Pharma for candidates who intend to work as registered pharmacists.

To that extent, the college boasts of adequate and relevance facilities to nurture the students both academically and otherwise. Its library is indeed a storehouse of knowledge containing 8850 books and 860 title on aspects of pharmaceutical sciences and computer applications. It also buys 6-12 pharmaceutical journals every year which make students aware of the current advancements in the field.

The colleges IT facilities also matches the standards with computer center having Pentium IV computers that are 30 in number Internet facility starting from 64 KBPS to 2MBPS. Most of the students are privileged to learn with the help of specialized software like Ex. Pharm that helps them in their education and in practice. Nehru Memorial College of Pharmacy offers two full-time courses: four years of B.

Pharm and two years of D. Pharm. Both programs are intended to give the graduates theoretical and practical background in pharmaceutical sciences. It holds excellent laboratories, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmacognosy, Anatomy and Physiology, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology.
