New Era College of Education, Dewas

New Era College of Education at Dewas, was recognised in 2008 as an affiliated college located at Madhya Pradesh in India. Established at B-1/52, Awas Nagar, Maxi Road, Dewas this institution lays focus on creating the future educators from the young generation.

Situated at a 2 acres campus, this college offers several teacher education programmes, which are recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). New Era College of Education is a focused institution that admits a total of 195 students and employs a complement of 24 faculty members.

New Era College of Education has many amenities with the purpose of improving the college experience as well as supporting learning. The well-equipped library can be considered as an educational centre as it provides students with great amount of educational information.

The New Era College of Education mainly provides three core courses in teacher education for various levels and specialisation areas. The B. Ed is a two-year full-time programme of study with an admission capacity of 100 students.

For students with interest of teaching in the primary classes, college offers Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed), which is another two-year full-time course and has total intake of 50 students. The institution has within the current academic year introduced a four-year integrated BA B. Ed programme which offers one hundred seats for the award of a bachelor’s degree in arts as well as teacher education.
