The Nirma University scholarships are for UG, PG and doctoral students. The university provides financial aid for undergraduate students which includes the Nirma Merit Scholarship scheme, Merit-cum-Means, Interest-Free Loans, Alumni Funded Scholarship and Earn While You Learn.

The renewal of the said scholarship is based on the candidates' academic performance and overall conduct during the previous year. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates should maintain a minimum PPI of 7, fulfil the minimum attendance requirement, not using unfair means in exams and apply for continuation of the scholarship.
Merit Scholarship For the Nirma Merit Scholarship scheme, candidates' merit and hard work are recognised. Rs. 1 lakh per annum to the top 5, Rs. 90k to the next 20 and Rs 50k to the next 25 students are given based on merit under this scheme. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship In addition to students’ merit, this merit-cum-means scheme takes into account the annual income of the family.
Rs 90k is given to the top 25 students with a total family income of less than two and a half lakhs, Rs. 50k to the next 25 students in the income group not exceeding Rs. 4 lakhs, and Rs. 25k to another 25 students with family income not exceeding Rs. 6 lakhs. Interest Free Loan The university provides a subsidy on the interest rate on the student loan that is taken for tuition fees.
This benefit is offered to 5 per cent of the total intake of students. Reimbursement of 100 per cent on the loan interest is offered to students with family income up to Rs. 3 lakhs and 50 per cent is offered to students with family income less than Rs. 5 lakhs. Alumni Funded Scholarship The Nirma Institute of Technology Alumni Association (NITAA) gives scholarships of Rs.
30,000 every year to two students from each branch. The students must maintain a PPI of 7. 5 and should not be getting scholarships from any other source. Earn While You Learn Students who haven’t received financial support from the government or university and have a family income of less than Rs. 10 lakh per annum can apply for this scheme. The selected students can work for a maximum of 10 hours every week.
Financial Aids for Postgraduate Students Nirma University offers financial support to PG students in terms of monthly stipend. The first nine GATE qualified students get a stipend of Rs. 12. 4k per month and others get a stipend of Rs. 5k per month.
