Nootan College of Pharmacy, Sangli

Nootan College of Pharmacy, Sangli, was established in the year 2016 and is one of the premier pharmacy education institutions of Maharashtra. Located in Kavathemahankal, Sangli district, it has already carved a name for itself with quality pharmacy education. The institution is approved by PCI and AICTE and offers two courses, B. Pharma and D. Pharma.

With a total enrolment of 170 students and 31 faculties, Nootan College of Pharmacy offers a student-friendly environment to aspiring students in the pharmacy community. Nootan College of Pharmacy has been successful with completely modernised facilities toward the future aim of academic improvement.

At the core of these amenities is a high-tech library with an extensive collection of titles, volumes, and subscriptions to national and international technical journals and magazines. The library also provides a book bank facility and a digital section with audio-video resources that will give students comprehensive material for research and studies.

Another feature added to the college is the series of well-equipped laboratories, in which the student learns practically to apply the limit tests, purity assessments, and synthesis of pharmaceutical compounds, thereby allowing the student to receive practical skills necessary for their future careers as a pharmacist.

The two undergraduate courses offered by Nootan College of Pharmacy, an affiliated college of DBATU Lonere , are the four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) programme with a seating capacity of 100 and the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) programme, which has a seating capacity of 60. Both programmes are full-time courses that lead to adequate grounding in pharmaceutical sciences for pharmacy graduates.
