NIIFT is a premier institute of northern India, devoted to fashion and textile education and was established in the year of 2008 in Mohali. Set in Mohali, Punjab, in an industrial zone, this affiliated college provides flexible course specialisations in fashion designing, textile designing, garment construction, etc. NIIFT Mohali has a small campus of 1. 66 acres, and the total enrolment of students is 156.

NIIFT Mohali offers 3 full-time programmes with both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study.

The total number of students coming through different courses offered is one hundred and fifty-six, thereby guaranteeing enough attention to each student in terms of education. The programmes are B. Sc. Fashion Design , B. Sc. Textile Design and M. Sc. Fashion Marketing and Management.
