Northern Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Alwar (NIPR), is one of the professional institute was established in the year of 2005. NIPR is situated in 12th Mile Stone, Alwar Bhiwadi State Highway, Rajasthan, India and it has been preparing the pharmaceutical talent for nearly 20 years.

For their quality standards, the Pharmacy institute has been approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) & the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NIPR has 186 students enroled and the institution has hired 16 faculty members. The institute provides two courses , B. Pharma and D.

Pharma each of 60 intake capacity is available to cater to the need of students at two different levels of pharmacy education. NIPR has several facilities that improve the experiences of the educational institution for its student. The institute carries laboratories which are fully equipped with proper tools, which are vital in improving practical experience needed for pharmacy education.

A full service library provides the students with information pool, key pharmaceutical references available both locally and on-line. Apart from these, every campus is designed with IT facilities to make sure that students are in touch with the development modern IT. The campus are offered with an on-campus health centre to deliver first aid for the students and staff.

The hostel accommodation is also available for both the male and female students, where students that live in the hostels enjoy relative comforts. Academic courses at the NIPR are designed to accord with the changing needs of the pharma business. The institute offers two full-time regular courses, B. Pharma and D. Pharma are the two most common pharmacy programmes recognised in the Indian pharmaceutical world.

Both programmes have an intake capacity of sixty students meaning that each course offers one hundred and twenty intakes. These programmes are to prepare students in the pharmacy sciences for successful performances in different segments of the field of pharmacy.

As a result of its structure, theoretical knowledge is substantiated by practical resolutions of real-world problems, which prepares graduates for the demands of independent practice.
