NRI Institute of Technology and Management, Gwalior was established in the year 2002 located in Baraghata, near railway under bridge, Jhansi Road, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This is co-educational institute is an affiliated college where engineering & management courses are available. As on the strength of the faculty members, it has 108 members and offers 7 courses in two degree programmes.

The campus located at the centre of Gwalior provides new age comfort and conducive environment for learning and grooming young engineers and managers. NRI Institute of Technology and Management, has equipped several modern infrastructures aimed to improve students’ learning environment. Alibraryis operating as a base of knowledge through a rich assortment of books, journal, as well as informational resources.

The laboratories include modern kitchenettes, computer and genetics laboratories which enables students follow practicalities of the respective fields. Being well designed, adequately spacious, and well ventilated, the college boasts some of the adequately and well-equipped good-looking tutorial rooms that come with modern facilities for presentations and other interaction activities.

With the aim of balanced growth of the students, they have arranged Hostel, Sports Complex and a Gym to prepare the students to face the academic challenges as well as the physical challenges. Accommodation also includes a hall for conducting events, seminars etc. , a canteen for snacks and a medical centre where first aide is offered to students.

There exist seven courses accredited to NRI Institute of Technology and Management, majoring in full-time undergraduate engineering programmes. The institute offers BE courses in Civil Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Electronics &Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics &communication Engineering , Computer Science &Engineering etc. Besides, it provides B.

Tech Information technology and Master of Business administration for the managers. The total intake of these courses that is allowed also differs, for instance for BE Computer science and Engineering and BE Electronics and communication engineering the total, intake that is allowed is 120 whereas for BE Civil engineering it is only 30.

Tech programmes, admissions are through the combined admission test organised Vyapam, Bhopal (at present, Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board). This examination used to screen candidates must be convenient to prevent biased admission for engineering courses.

Likewise, the MBA programme students’ admission policies are also merit based with the combined admission test conducted by the Competent Authority Vyapam Bhopal.
