Om Kothari Institute of Teacher Training – a leading institution of Kota, Rajasthan – is an institution that focuses on the future of education. Om Kothari Institute of Teacher Training currently offers two full-time courses: The minimum academic qualification requirement for service is the possession of the basic professional qualification in education embodied in the two categories of qualification, namely Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed ) and Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed ).

Both of the programmes last for 2 years and equip future educators with a solid set of knowledge. The B. Ed programme is offered by the college for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary levels; D. El. Ed is for primary-level students. These courses are intended to give the students the skills, knowledge and practice they need in order to practise in the teaching field.

Of the above programmes, the institute offers a total of 191 students, achieving a small and selective environment in the learning process, making it easier for them to have contacts with students and faculty members. Admission to Om Kothari Institute of Teacher Training is carried out on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examinations. Admissions to the B.

Ed programme are made according to the rules and regulations set by the state government, UT administration and the university the college is affiliated with. Likewise in the case of D. El. Ed admissions, this also follows the pattern set by state government norms.
