Owaisi College of Nursing, one of the pioneer nursing colleges in Hyderabad, Telangana, was established in the year 2001. This independent, co-educational college is situated over an area of 16 acres of land; this is an INC-affiliated college. The college has a total enrolment of 319 students and the faculty of 21 offers six courses in three degrees in various fields of nursing.

The institute provides quality education in all its courses, offers diverse programmes, and has physical facilities that enhance students’ careers in health care. The college has state-of-the-art facilities within and without the classroom that are intended to support learning and student development.

Nursing course is the flagship program of the college and the college offers an intake of 50 students. At the postgraduate level, the college is offering postgraduate M. Sc. courses in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing , Paediatric Nursing, and Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing, which intake 5 students each.

In addition, there is a short GNM programme that has 30 seats available for students to apply for for the course. The overall capacity for all programs learners intake has been pegged at 100, with the management aiming at providing quality education through putting restrictions on the number of learners admitted in a class.
