This affiliated college was started in 2008 and has been developing young minds for more than a decade. The PNCVIET has a diversity of engineering programmes it offers to its 247 enroled students. It occupies an area of 10.

26 acres, with a strength of 42 dedicated faculty members, thus maintaining a very convincing student-to-teacher ratio. PNCVIET, as part of its holistic development agenda, has sports facilities, an auditorium for symposia and seminars, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The facilities also include a cafeteria, a health center that can be used for first-aid purposes, and a guesthouse for visiting faculty members and family of the students. This is an Affiliated College of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

The total number of courses offered by PNCVIET is 9, including undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The institute offers five full-time B. Tech courses and four full-time M. Tech courses that are appropriately designed considering the present-day industry requirements.
