Pannai College of Pharmacy, Dindigul

Pannai College of Pharmacy, Dindigul was founded in 2018 as a new institute providing the training in the sphere of pharmacy in Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college situated at Thamaraipaddi, Trichy Road started with the PCI and AICTE approvals for the Pharmacy programme. With a campus area of 12 acres, the college is now in the position of having 69 students enrolled, and 23 members among the faculty.

Pannai College of Pharmacy offers two primary courses: D. Pharma and B. Pharma designed for students, who need a proper preparation for becoming successful pharmacist in the field of pharmacy. The college has various facilities that were put in place for improvement of the students’ learning facilities.

This is exercised from the learning resources where the library is prominent feature and well equipped with books, national/international journals/newspapers/magazines. All this information is highly beneficial to students since it helps them to improve the knowledge base within the chosen specialty and is informed of the current advancements in the sphere of pharmacy.

This is due to the modern and well equipped pharmaceutical laboratories have been taken pride of the institute. These large laboratories are equipped with such essentials as well as observes safety measures, giving the student’s practical surroundings they require for pharmaceutical study.

Concerning techno academic facilities, it possessed an Air Conditioned Computer with Internet and Wlan Facility and fee Air Conditioned Computer Lab with Internet & W.

This facility allows online studying and other research-related activities for many hours, which will be helpful for both faculty members and students, as well as to empower essential pharmacy skills in the context of significant digital advances during the contemporary period. Also in the college the comfort of the learners is of paramount importance hence the separate Hostel facilities for boys and girls.

These hostels possess mess facilities that provide standard and clean foods to meet the nutritional needs of the learners in student-based hostels. Pannai College of Pharmacy presently provides two major courses related to pharmacy studies. Intake capacity of the institute is 260 for Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) and 100 for Bachelor of Pharmacy ( B. Pharma ).

These courses are intended to offer the student with the necessary pharmaceutical sciences knowledge in order to secure different positions in the health care and or pharmaceutical sectors. To summit, the total number of students within these two programs is one hundred and sixty in a bid to maintain a student/faculty ratio in order to provide quality education.

To facilitate students and expand opportunities for their success within a college academic process, some more additional facilities realized. Some of them are; sports complex for various exercises, a hall for celebrations and meetings, canteen for serving of meals.

The institute also provides transport facilities at an intrinsic cost to enable students and faculties to move around in order to maintain an effective academic schedule. Pannai College of Pharmacy which is in Dindigul is an institution education pharmacy and this institution is seeking to grow to offer an all rounded education in pharmacy that integrates theory and practice.
