Parangat B. Ed. College, Halvad is one of the earliest institutions for teacher education established in the year 2007 as an affiliated institution. It has been the abode of future teachers for over a decade, spread over more than 2 acres of land, designed to present an atmosphere congenial to learning and growth.

With a total student enrollment of 573 and faculty strength of 42, the institution has an excellent student-to-teacher ratio that allows everyone to receive adequate attention and quality learning. The college has manifold facilities for enrichment in the learning experiences of the students.

It boasts a very well-stocked central library that serves as the hub of knowledge and also provides a quiet atmosphere for study and research. The Parangat B. Ed. College is proud to boast its ultra-modern computer laboratory with more than 40 high-configuration computers having scanning, printing, and multimedia facilities.

There will be an expansive playground for hockey, football, basketball, handball, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, and athletics for sports and physical activities.
