Christian Polytechnic College for Peoples, Tirunelveli, started in the year 2001-02, is a leading technical college in Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is carved in Lenssen Nagar, Radhapuram, with a facility area of 64 Acre. The university, which has been recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has four advanced diploma courses in the engineering faculties.

The total enrolment of students in the college is 459, while the number of faculties are 35, resulting in a healthy student-teacher ratio of 13:, meaning that each teacher gives individual attention to all his/her 13 students. This is in regard to specializations offered where the institution offers Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics, Electronics and communication, and Civil technical education.
