Patronage Institute of Professional Studies, Greater Noida

Patronage Institute of Professional Studies was established in the year 2000 in Greater Noida, a place in the state of Uttar Pradesh, for delivering education of quality in different disciplines. Spread out over a massive 5-acre campus, this institution offers a variety of undergraduate courses to aid for the changing needs of the job market.

Patronage Institute focuses on managing student passion for professional and academic courses in Education, Computer Applications, Business Administration, and Home Science. Patronage Institute of Professional Studies has a variety of facilities that will make learning effective among its students.

The library forms an important part of the academic resources; it is stocked with more than 8800 books concerning to the department of B. Ed and a sizable collection for other programmes. The students also receive support from 17 educational journals and 40 encyclopedias. These will help in their referencing.

The campus is fully furnished with modern laboratories, having Educational Technology, Language, Psychology, Science Laboratories, etc. which will allow practical work and hands-on experience. The IT infrastructure is strong, with a computer centre having 30 latest hardware and software-backed terminals, each of them having 512 Mbps high-speed internet.

For physical health, the institute has provided wide range of sports, including cricket, football, basketball, etc. A canteen is there for providing healthy food and snacks and promotes high campus life. The Institute offers four full-time undergraduate courses : B. Ed, BCA , BBA, and B. Sc in Home Science . Among these four, B. Ed is the flagship course of the institute, with a recognised intake capacity of 200.

The education in the institution differentiate the students into sectors of Education, Technology, Business, and Home Sciences. All the courses are designed as full-time courses for three years except for the B. Ed programme, which is two years. The diversity allows students to select the stream as per their career prospects and interests.

Admission process at Patronage Institute of Professional Studies is different for different courses. The admissions to the B. Ed programme shall be made on the basis of merit, subject to the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.

In addition, the institute shall also observe and abide by the various state government/UT administration policies and university to which it is affiliated policies.
