PG College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Nandurbar

PG College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research is an affiliated college situated in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, devoted to pharmaceutical education. It has already been recognised as an institution for pharmacy education. Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the college provides two exclusive courses in the field of pharmacy.

At present, the total strength of faculty members is 24, and the institute aims to provide quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The college majors in the teaching of pharmacy subjects, making it a unique college for those who want to be trained as professional pharmacists. PG College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research, located in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, is affiliated with Dr.

Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere. The college is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). PG College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research has availed itself of various modern infrastructures that facilitate students' learning processes.

The information technology infrastructure includes a computer laboratory with high-configuration machines, printers, laptops, LCD projections, and a centralised LAN. The college is also in the process of putting Wi-Fi into place throughout the college.

The library that is referred to as the central reference of the institution has all the books computerised and ranges approximately 3500 books on 500 different titles and 6 national and international journals. It also has a distinct service known as the Book Bank Facility, under which books can be taken by students on a semester basis for meagre charges.

The college for physical recreation has formulated the sporting facilities for cricket, football, basketball and volleyball for the enhancement of the students in both physical and academic activities. There is a cafeteria within the school compound, and students use it as a recreational area because beverages and food are relatively cheap.

The college also has well-equipped department-based practical laboratories to facilitate practicals in the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. PG College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research has enrolled in two courses in pharmacy. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) programme is of four-year duration and has an enrolment capacity of 100 students. Every year, the college offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.

Pharma 60 - PG College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research has an admission procedure known as Centralised Admission Procedure (CAP) for all the courses, which are organised according to the CET Cell, Mumbai. This makes the admissions run fairly and uniformly in order to favour all students. A centralised admission system is adopted for the B. Pharma programme.
