The Physiotherapy School and Centre, Government Medical College, Nagpur, is one of the prominent centres for physiotherapy education. This affiliated college was set up in 1964 and is situated in Nagpur, India. It is located in the vicinity of Hanuman Nagar and encompasses an area of 197 acres of land for the institute. At present, the school is MGA empowers 163 learners and has a faculty of 4 members.

The institute teaches 6 courses : the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), which has an annual admission of 30 students. This is because it is a coeducational institution admitting both male and female students, and students effectively interact throughout the learning process. This college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.

The Physiotherapy School and Centre provides all the facilities to support the students for their academic and personal development. The college library is a two-storied building with a total area of 4000 sq ft. The undergraduate and the postgraduate students have been provided with different halls. It contains about 38,726 volumes, 16,000 volumes of bound periodicals, as well as 2,700 dissertations.

The reading room of the library is also open twenty-four hours for the extended convenience of students for studying and searching. The institute also facilitates a highly developed laboratory for practical experience, state-of-the-art Information Technology resources and infrastructure, and athletic facilities for overall personality development.

As a measure of fulfilling the physical necessity of students, there is a health centre complete with first aid throughout the school compound. The Physiotherapy School and Centre presently has an integrated course offering, the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT). This full-time course takes four years to complete and prepares students for professional physiotherapy practice.

This programme has a sanctioned number of 30 student enrolments to cater for each student in order to provide adequate attention and quality education.
