There are two modes through which the college takes admission. The first is through academic merit and the second by management quota. 30% of the seats are reserved for meritorious students based on academic performance.

The state and central government policies of reservation of seats to different categories are followed such as Defense Service, BPL, SC & ST, Girl Students, Single Girl Child, Physically Challenged, Kashmiri Migrant, OBC, and EWS in General. For admission in all B. Tech programs, scores of JEE Main are taken. This is per the national requirement for admission to the stream of Engineering.
