As an affiliated college Pompei College was established in 1981 and is located at Kinnigoli, Mangalore, Karnataka. NAAC accredited, this premier institution provides a vast rangeof the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Pompei College is located in a campus of 1. 26 acres and total number of students enrolled is 378 and faculty members are 18 in total. At present, the college offers four programmes of BA, B.

Com, BBM and M. Com, to suit different scholarly specialisations and employment needs. Pompei College has a package of facilities that can make a rather significant contribution to effective learning procedures among students. The library is one of the essential academic facilities and is entirely computerised, including Internet connection and online public access catalog.

It holds twenty one thousand four hundred and eighty eight books, eleven daily newspapers, and sixty two periodicals from several topics. For the sports enthusiasts, the college has two different sports complex for outdoor games like kick boxing court, kabaddi court, basketball court, throw ball court, badminton court, football ground, and cricket ground etc.

Some of the indoor sporting activity facilities are chess, table tennis, carrom, weight lifting, and power lifting. The college also has a well-furnished gym, wireless internet connection all over the college campus and an extensive auditorium with a strength of around seven hundred. A cafeteria at the entrance of the campus serves food needs of staffs and students.

For female students who may need a place to stay, the college has lodged a girls’ hostel facility available. Other facilities for the students are IT structure, a health centre with first aid kits, car parking and a shop for other services such as photocopying and selling stationeries. Pompei College has four full time courses that include both under graduate and postgraduate courses.

The undergraduate category has the following programmes: BA , B. Com, and BBM . The postgraduate programme focuses only on M. Com . As all these programmes are structured, they are best undertaken in a full-time study regimes.
