Pragathi Polytechnic College was started in 2014 and located at Kothavalsa of Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college is approved by AICTE for diploma courses in different field of engineering. This institute is located in a campus area of 6. 52 acres; at present, it has 103 students and 38 faculties.

The institution of Pragathi Polytechnic College offers four diploma programmes with a focus to areas of engineering for both male and female. Pragathi Polytechnic College has made available various facilities that would help improve students learning experience in the institute. The college library is also a knowledge centre since it avails students with many educational materials.

Laboratories for each and every department assist the students to get exposed to practical sessions wherein they can implement the theoretical knowledge which they gain. IT facilities of the college help the students in updating them with the latest technological development.
