Prasanna College of Education, Ujire, is affiliated college which was started in the year 2004 located at Belthangady, Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka. This is an NCTE approved institution and the only one that offers programmes in teacher education. Located on 2 acre land the setting of this college provides a favorable learning atmosphere to anyone interested in entering the teaching fraternity.

The total number of students it takes in a year is 100 and the faculty in the Prasanna College of Education is 16 creating a desirable student faculty ratio, which enhances the quality of education given to the students. Ed programme is a full time course of two years and has an approved intake capacity of 100 seats. Further, the college has also given the facility of diploma course D. El. Ed Course total seats are 50. These programmes helps students to lay down their foundation for all their future endeavours in teaching.
