Prathibha PG College, Kukatpally

Prathibha PG College, Kukatpally was set up in 1999, as an affiliated college at Telangana, India. Being located in the lively zone of Kukatpally the college started to provide students with necessary educational opportunities more than two decades ago. It has a total of 1040 students enrolled and faculty of 10 members which provide individualistic professional environment for the students.

The college currently offers only one postgraduate course, the M. Com Finance by virtue of which it can be said that the college has specialised in commerce education at postgraduate level. This is coupled with a variety of undeniable infrastructural advancement that has been put in place with the view of making teaching and learning a rich experience for the college students.

This vast collection is meant to educate and extend student’s knowledge beyond their classroom and develop passion for learning. Prathibha PG College has well endowed IT facility comprising of six computer laboratories that support the technological advancement of the college.

These labs include modern hardware and software which let students practice in different areas of computing starting from the elementary level till the most complex programming and work with websites. Prathibha PG College offers only one postgraduate course, the M. Com Finance , which is a complete two year course.

This focused strategy enables the college to embrace its resources as well as specialised knowledge in position of effective delivery of instructional services in commerce and fiscal disciplines. The procedure of admission of the M. Com Finance at Prathibha PG College solely based on an entrance examination conducted by the university to which the college is affiliated.

This process make sure that right talents are recruited apart from meeting all other requirements as stipulated by the university rules and policies, quotas and reservations. Apart from academic infrastructure, Prathibha PG College provides other student related facilities for the overall development of the students.

The college has sports for students wherein they are able practice and develop their physical health as well as have team spirit. There is a buffet centre that has been established on the school compound where students and staff will be able to get a break and chat. That is why the availability of the departmental laboratories also helps to develop the practical activities of students.

The college also has a guest room or waiting area for visiting faculty or families of a student in a particular college. However, it is worth stating that Prathibha PG College does have an alumni that connects students and graduated individuals than may be of help in students’ careers.
