Priyadarshini College of Education, Chowari, was established in 2009 with affiliation to Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. This co-educational institution accredited by NCTE offers only a teacher education programme. Founded on a limited piece of land of one acre, the college is providing a Bachelor of Education, commonly abbreviated as B. Ed. , with a maximum course capacity of one hundred students.

Catering to its 200-plus students, the college has a faculty of 14 committed teachers, making for a good student-to-teacher ratio and hence a sound learning environment for its aspiring teachers. Priyadarshini College of Education is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla .
