Pruthviraj Deshmukh College of Physiotherapy is established in Yavatmal the state of Maharashtra which is well known physiotherapy college that imparts this course. This affiliated college was founded in 2006, and has been producing healthcare professionals for more than ten years now. Tucked in a 4-acre area, the college provides ample learning atmosphere to its learners.

We have a total population of one hundred students with nine faculty members, and this makes it possible to adopt close student-faculty interaction. In the following points, the different infrastructures available in the college as a means of improving the learning activities and the students’ advancement will be highlighted.

Living separately and apart from home, students need a hostel and it’s important that boys and girls are accommodated separately. In the college, library plays an important role of being a central place from where students gather most important knowledge that will enable them to pursue physiotherapy.

Modern laboratories address the practical aspects of the devised curriculum so that the students can put their knowledge to practice. There is also a facility of an auditorium so as to enhance the holding of occasion and seminars which makes the campus to be lively for learning. Pruthviraj Deshmukh College of Physiotherapy conducts only the BPT programme hence the college is exclusively a physiotherapy college.

This course is offered on full time basis and takes four years to offer physiotherapy training. Learners will acquire adequate knowledge and skills to do the job in this important field of health care delivery. With an approved intake of 60 seats the college keeps its standard of admission procedure competitive but affordable for the students seeking physiotherapy as their career option.

In terms of admission, the institution follows standard practice at the national level as follows. Before getting admission in any of the medical and other health science courses, a candidate has to sit for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate ( NEET –UG ), which is conducted at national level.

This requirement is useful to guarantee that students who have been admitted in the Institution have adequate background knowledge in sciences that is appropriate for physiotherapy.
