QIS Institute of Technology, Ongole

QIS Institute of Technology, popularly known as QISIT, is one of the premier institutes of education located in Vengamukkapalem, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, and was established in the year 2008. This is a co-educational institute spread over 10. 42 acres and an affiliated college imparting quality engineering education. The total enrolment of students is 1,251 with a faculty strength of 94.

QISIT provides an intellectually stimulating atmosphere for academic excellence. The institute offers five B. Tech programmes , including specialisations in growing fields such as Artificial Intelligence, thereby suitably responding to the changing requirements of the technology world. This modern physical infrastructure contributes numerous to the learning experience of QIS students.

The separate hostels for boys and girls in Ongole town have all amenities within the campus with 24×7 security. The institute also has a well-equipped library that houses more than 13,000 volumes and more than 62 technical journals, thereby allowing the students and faculty to create a knowledge hub.

Facilities such as Gymnasium, Sports facility, and full-fledged medical center with qualified doctors and nurses available at all times grace the campus. programmes at the undergraduate level, all full-time courses. It includes Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. All these programmes have an approved intake capacity of 360, except for 120 in the case of Computer Science and Engineering and for Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Tech Civil Engineering 60 QISIT admission is done in such a way that fact of the admission should be transparent and only on the merit basis of the students. Admissions to the institute are generally made through AP EAMCET .

In accordance, the seats shall be classified into two categories: Category A, consisting of 70% of the sanctioned intake, and Category B, with the remaining 30%, shall be filled by the competent authority through an online admission procedure by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to have a two-way approach so that the student community would be diverse and merit worthy.

QISIT developed a very active alumni network by establishing the QISIT Alumni Association in the year 2017.
