Raghukul Teachers Training College, Bundi, was established in the year 2008 and is located in Rajasthan, India. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, or NCTE; it offers only teacher education programme. Located on 3. 06 acres, the college provides a space for students intending to join the noble profession of teaching.
At present, the institute has a faculty strength of only 8 members, and mostly the institute aims at adding quality in teaching. Raghukul Teachers Training College has a variety of resources to improve the students’ education as well as their general well-being.
A sound library is provided and contains 3355 books in Hindi besides textbooks and journals and magazines and periodicals related to various subjects in the curriculum. Light and well ventilated and adequately sized classroomsfriendly with bookshelves for the reading room to facilitate study.
The college also has several laboratories, such as the psychological, educational technology, science, and audio-visual aids laboratories, fully equipped with relevant equipment and material to facilitate the practical nature of learning. For female students, there is an on-campus girls’ hostel that can accommodate fifty residents, necessary furniture, and a resident matron.
Raghukul Teachers Training College has only one programme and it’s the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ). This is a two-year full-time course that seeks to produce training professionals for the future. The programme has an approved capacity of fifty schools per year intake of students, thus creating a lot of openings for anyone willing to teach.
The existence of only this one programme permits the college to concentrate exclusively on the preparation of teachers. The admission process of Raghukul Teachers Training College is strictly based on the norms of the state government/UT Administration and university affiliation. All students are admitted based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination/entrance examination.
